Sad News!!

September 3, 2008

After all the training and practicing and the grand graduation, I did not make it to be signed with Avenue Modeling Agencies. Today when I signed on I recieved a notecard of my evaluation and some feedback about why I wasnt chosen. Although it is a tough pill to swallow I have to keep moving on and find the Agency that is right for me. The following is a copy of my evaluation:

Hey Kinji,

After completing the Curriculum and the Graduation Show, Avenue Models Academy Instructors discuss and write a feedback for each of Trainee on Group A.

Here are some Criteria how we made the decision.

1. Body (Shape, Skins)
You need to improve a bit your shapes

2. Attitude and Teamwork
You are bit quiet but you perform well.

3. Performance
You are well prepared for catwalk training but struggled to pose on the right spot on the runway.

You got nice poses and perform well during Graduation Show

After all that Criteria, im sad to say that you didnt make it be added on AVENUE MODELS.

This not means ur too bad, not at all, you just didnt hit that requirement that AVENUE MODELS are looking for.

I hope you understand us and i hope you arent upset or mad on us. You are free to send me IM for any advice to improve your Modeling Career and who knows maybe we welcome you soon in AVENUE MODELS.

Sincerely.
Kryptonia Paperdoll

* I will not let this evaluation defeat me! Only learn from it and move on to bigger and better things.

GRADUATION DAY!!!

September 2, 2008

I have finally graduated from modeling school! Blog muffins, after many days of class and hours of practice, I’ve finally completed my training at Avenue Models Academy. This has been a very tedious yet rewarding experience for me. I have learned so much from the wonderful instructors at Avenue Academy and made some great friends.  Our graduation took place Sunday, Aug 31, 2008 at noon. The following are some stills from the show. * Also keep an eye out for the news article covering our graduation that will be posted on www.metaverse-tribune.com.

Special Note: The following photos were taken by and is the property of Avenue Models Academy. They are in no way the property of DigiModel4hire. The sole purpose of these photos is to display the still images of my performance during the show. If you want to check out more photos of the show hit up Avenue Models blog site on my “favorite links” page.

First Red Carpet Walk

August 19, 2008

This week I had my first walk on the red carpet for the KA Designs skin launch party. It was very laggy but pretty cool. I ended up crashing but did manage to get the 3 free skin samples they were handing out. hehe

4 Hours of Catwalk Bliss!!

August 4, 2008

Well we are finally getting down to the wire now. This past Sunday I was in class four hours straight for a double header. The two classes I was attended was the Catwalk Class with Emmz Tzara and Runway Practice with Avenue Models Academy head Kryptonia Paperdoll. In the Catwalk class we went over a quick review of quick changes and we talked about things like Model Orders for shows and carefully following instructions. Emmz also stressed the importance for walks and poses to look natural and should compliment the designs that are being modeled. After the theory there was practice… and practice… and practice. LOL We quickly hit the runway in following the instructions of the model order issued by Emmz. We had to wear the quick change outfits that we were assigned to make prior to class.

After the Catwalk Class there was Runway Practice which was led by Avenue Academy head Kryptonia Paperdoll. Runway Class was practice added to the class before. We basically practiced the model order and pose stops for our graduation show. All in all it was a long process but a fun experience. Thanks again guys!!!!

This is me modeling my formal quick change outfit for the Catwalk Class practice session.

Here we are lining up for our first go at the runway. Woo HOO!!!

Here the class is saying goodbye to each other after a long day of catwalking. lol

OK a little inspiration

August 2, 2008

My rl hubby just emailed me this due to some things that has been bombing me out lately. I really helped my way of thinking. Just thought I would share it with all my blog muffins.

You Can If You Think You Can!

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow’s will.
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You’ve got to think high to rise,
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

Service At Home

July 31, 2008

It is not hard to lead a very busy second lifestyle when one is into the virtual entertainment industry. And if you are a model that means not only is your day-to-day full of auditions and jobs, but in the end you have to realize that you are a servant to your clients. Sooooo if we are serving our clients then who is around to serve us during our down time? I don’t know about yowl but “Rufus” was my resounding answer to that question. When I am not busy I love chilling at the crib and taking in the beautiful landscape. Due to my living situation I gave up a large beachfront lot for a considerably smaller townhome that is also on the water. I live alone and spend alot of my downtime alone so boredom is a given. That’s why I’m so lucky to find Rufus. Rufus is my personal butler. He flies around and follows me everywhere I go when I’m home. And if I don’t order him to a certain station in, he tidies up and split if I log or tp to another location. He also serves my friends and guest when they are over and he can serve as a tip jar in case I wanna make folks pay for his divine hospitality. Wanna a butler like Rufus? Check him out at the SL Exchange at this link: http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=127136 . He only runs for around 150L and would be great for your home or even a club.
